This site collects as little data as possible. Here's exactly what happens and why.
Contact form
When you submit the contact form, your name, email address, subject, and message are transmitted to and stored by Formspree — a third-party service used to deliver the message to me. Formspree retains submissions for up to 30 days, after which they are automatically deleted.
Your data is used solely to respond to your enquiry. It will not be shared with anyone else or used for any other purpose. Formspree is GDPR-compliant and covered by the EU–US Data Privacy Framework. You can read their full privacy policy.
Analytics
This site uses Umami for analytics. Umami is a privacy-first tool that collects only anonymous, aggregated data: page views, referrer, browser language, and device type. It does not use cookies, does not fingerprint your device, and cannot identify you as an individual.
Because no personal data is collected, no consent banner is required under GDPR.
Your rights
Under GDPR you have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of any personal data I hold. If you have submitted a contact form and would like your message removed before the 30-day retention window, get in touch at hello@joaooliveira.eu.
